  • July 2012
    With Sakai at the center, CFlat Co. Ltd. was founded for Contract software development and smartphone app development.
  • July 2015
    Kamobayashi joined CFlat as a director and joined Astrotech Software Design Studios Co., Ltd. as a representative director.
  • August 2018
    Kamobayashi became the representative director of CFlat.
  • April 2019
    CFlat and Astrotech Software Design Studios were consolidated into one.
  • June 2020
    The company name was changed to Arent Inc., and a company rebranding was carried out.
  • July 2020
    PlantStream Inc. was founded as a joint venture with Chiyoda Corporation

    Graduated Faculty of Science, Kyoto University Kamobayashi worked for MU Investments Co., Ltd. as an analyst in the share management division. He later moved to GREE, Inc. in 2012. After going independent in 2015, he joined CFlat Co. Ltd., which was later changed to Arent. He is currently the president and a representative director of Arent.
  • Fumitaka SakaiFumitaka SakaiVice President and Representative Director
    Completed a program in physics at the Graduate School of Science, Kyoto University Sakai joined Armonicos Co., Ltd. in 2008. He later went independent in 2012 and founded CFlat Co. Ltd., which was later changed to Arent. He is currently the vice president and a representative director of Arent.
  • Takeshi OdaTakeshi OdaDirector
    Completed the doctoral program in physics at the Graduate School of Science, Kyoto University. During his time at Armonicos Co., Ltd., not only did Oda successfully lead a project as a development manager for reverse engineering software “spScan,” but he also worked on the development of medical CAD and CAM systems. He has also taken part in many co-research projects with universities and research institutes. He joined Arent (formerly CFlat) in 2019 and is currently a director of Arent, as well as the Co-CEO and a representative director of PlantStream Inc., an affiliated company of Arent.
  • Tsubasa NakashimaTsubasa NakashimaDirector
    Left the Faculty of Science, Kyoto University without a degree. After gaining experience in accounting, cost management, corporate planning, internal audit, etc. at a subsidiary of an automobile manufacturer, Nakashima joined Arent in 2019 as the first member of the management department. He became a director in 2021.
  • Takehito MikiTakehito MikiChief Revenue Officer
    Graduated the Faculty of Engineering, Kyoto University During his time at Keyence Corporation, Miki worked as a consultant and as a sales representative handling FA equipment for clients in the manufacturing industry, supporting the automation of the clients’ factories. Later he joined Recruit Co., Ltd. and achieved a sales growth of 200% or more every year as a project manager and a group manager. After working in corporate planning at Amazon Japan G.K., he joined Arent Inc.
